SILEX Fiberglass Windows and Doors is proud to announce the publication of its first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) through the International EPD System, marking a significant step forward in the company’s commitment to environmental transparency and sustainable manufacturing.
The EPD provides independently verified data on the environmental impact of SILEX’s fiberglass window and door systems throughout their life cycle — from raw material extraction and manufacturing to use and end-of-life. This milestone reflects SILEX’s dedication to responsible production and supports architects, builders, and developers in achieving their sustainability goals and certifications such as LEED, BOMA BEST, and other green building standards.

The EPD was developed in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards and verified by a third party under the International EPD System. It covers SILEX’s full line of fiberglass window and door products manufactured at the company’s Winnipeg facility.
