    project overview

The Red River Métis National Heritage Centre is a significant cultural project currently under development in Winnipeg. Notably, the centre is being established within the historic Bank of Montreal building, a prominent landmark in the city.

The transformation of this iconic building into a space dedicated to celebrating Métis history, heritage, and culture marks a pivotal moment for the Métis Nation. The project is spearheaded by the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) with the aim of showcasing the Métis people’s crucial role in shaping Canada’s history.

SILEX is proud to have been selected as the window supplier for the Red River Métis National Heritage Centre. Recognizing the importance of preserving the building’s historical character, we crafted custom windows that perfectly replicate the original style while incorporating state-of-the-art energy efficiency technology. Our contribution to this significant cultural project reflects our commitment to both heritage and innovation.
