Job Description
- Working Safely
- Maintaining/improving productivity according to established methods
- Identifying mechanical problems and barriers to improvement
- Waste reduction
- Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and reliable safety methods are in place and followed
- Ensure employees maintain high-quality standards according to customer specifications. Determine Human resources as required
- Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. Determine Material resources as required
- Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for windows and doors. Implement and Control schedule
- Prepare and maintain production reports
- Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific performance and optimum utilization
- Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers ensure compliance with standards
- Ensure efficient coordination between relevant departments including distribution and management
Leadership
- Effectively supervises and manages staff and provides, by example and leadership, motivation and direction
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws
- Hands-on position. On the production floor
- Ensures on-going performance feedback is provided to staff and conducts performance reviews in a timely and effective manner
- Acts as the key contact for assisting employees and in directing employees to needed information or forms
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to sales leads
- Generate own leads by prospecting for new clients and developing new accounts
- Identify, document, and track opportunities electronically
- Develop and implement account plans and strategies for existing customers and targeted new customers
- Continuously learn about products, new product options, market trends
- Provide answers to customer inquiries
- Do takeoffs
- Generate quotes, agreements, proposals and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Close sales
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements, all candidates must have:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to self-motivate
- History of being a team player
- A high degree of self-motivation and proactive personality
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Strong follow-up and closing skills
- The ability to present products in response to unique customer needs
- High level of integrity in all business dealings
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office) knowledge
- Ability to read plans is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
